FILM CONNECT is a specialized initiative of FLZ designed to facilitate connections among

filmmakers, that was successfully initiated at the Zanzibar International Film Festival in 2023.

Its primary goal is to bridge the gap between emerging talents and established professionals

through an interactive event where participants actively engage in discussions, seek guidance, and

form connections to shape their filmmaking careers.

By connecting aspiring filmmakers with industry experts, established professionals, and fellow
